These Automatic Pedestrian Gate Closer's from Lockey are designed for use on either right or left handed metal or timber gates for either domestic or commercial purposes. These closer's are hydraulically controlled, with a dual bracket for adjustments on in-line and off set hinge requirements. They are soft closing for a quiet operation and damage reduction. They have a robust PVC coated stainless steel construction and gate closer force is increased by using mounting holes further away from the gate post. With these there is no risk of maladjustment or tampering with the speed adjustment after the closer is fitted. They can be used with most forms of security or hold open devices and are easy to install, with instructions and the clamp bracket attached to assist installation. The manufacturer specifies that gate stops must be fitted. The lock normally acts as the first which is to restrict the swing of the gate from passing through the post line when the gate closes. A second gate stop should be fitted to restrict the opening angle of the gate to 90 degrees, and failure to do this will invalidate the warranty.
