Eero Saarinen designed the Womb chair in 1948 exclusively for Knoll. Now, the iconic Womb chair has been updated to offer an increased level of comfort, thanks to improvements in production technology. The new body of the chair is made of flexible foam, giving a more comfortable and soft feel. The Womb Relax chair can be purchased on its own, or with a matching ottoman. The Knoll logo is stamped into the structure of the chair and the ottoman, to guarantee authenticity.

The Womb chair is made of polyurethan foam over metal structure with elastic belts. The Womb ottoman is made of upholstered foam over molded plywood platform. The base features steel rod legs with polished chrome or painted black finish. Both chair and ottoman feature stainless steel and nylon articulating glides.

Upholstered in a range of fabrics. These products are available with foam that meets requirements for BS5852. Please note you can choose down filled or dacron filled.
