Beyond Recognition is the third full‑length album by American thrash metal band Defiance, originally released in 1992 on Roadrunner Records.

Marking a shift toward a more progressive and distinctive thrash sound, the album became their most critically acclaimed work, with many fans considering it their finest moment.
Former Heathen vocalist Dave White appears on “Inside Looking Out”, performing vocal harmonies with Steev Esquivel.
The cover art is created by Ed Repka, widely known as the “King of Thrash Metal Art”.

This edition is pressed on 180‑gram audiophile translucent purple vinyl, includes a renewed insert, and is limited to 750 individually numbered copies.
