In the beginning, the Mother Goddess ordered two of her children who had transformed into feathered serpents, to divide the immensity of their bodies in two to give rise to Heaven and Earth. From her fertile womb the Earth was created and her hair extended to the ends of the universe. But wanting to honor the sacrifice of their mother, the children abandoned their own bodies to contain in them the heart of their mother in the Great Tree of Life. Thus they became the heart of Heaven and the heart of Earth.

En el principio la Diosa Madre ordeno a dos se sus hijos que transformados en serpientes emplumadas dividieran la inmensidad de su cuerpo en dos para dar origen al cielo y a la tierra. De su vientre fértil se creo la tierra y sus cabellos se extendieron hasta los confines del universo. Pero queriendo honrar el sacrificio de su madre, sus hijos abandonaron sus propios cuerpos para contener en ellos en corazón de su madre en el Gran Arbol de la vida y ellos se transformaron en el corazón del cielo y el corazón de la tierra.
