✦ Made of 11 oz. Selvedge 2×1 denim, dark indigo warp x grey weft, milled in Japan.
✦ Please refer to the sizing chart in the photos to determine which size works for you.
✦ For care: Hand wash or machine wash on delicate, cold water, minimal eco-friendly detergent. Turn inside-out. Line dry only.
✦ This fabric will develop an attractive patina over time, according to the owner’s activities, frequency of wear, and laundering choices.
✦ From the maker: The term “placer” comes from a simple technique for extracting gold from riverbeds, popular during the 1848 California Gold Rush. Gold is heavier than rocks, so the precious metal was sifted, twirling sand/gravel/water by a single individual (sometimes with one partner) in a rudimentary prospector’s pan. Unlike hard rock mining, placer mining required no machinery, just hard work and optimism.
