In celebration of the 40th anniversary of AOR, the "AOR CITY" series released a total of 198 titles in two installments in 2016 and 2017. The jackets feature illustrations by popular illustrator Hiroshi Nagai, and the selections range from well-known songs by Boz Scaggs and Ned Doheny, who are representative of AOR, to well-known songs by those in the know, with a focus on gentle sounds from the 70's.
