Large hand-painted tulip motif "check" or "point paper" pattern for Jacquard woven tapestry, 21 x 25 inches. Wonderfully textured with some variations in toning from age. Dated 1910, France. In Good condition with a large tape repair and manuscript writing on the verso. Several small edge tears inconspicuously reinforced with archival tape. The photographs document the unbacked pattern (with a slight curl) and in a mylar sleeve, backed with matboard to show the edges. It will ship rolled in a tube unless the mat is requested (there is no cost for the mat, but shipping overages due to size may apply).
