The Bently Nevada 3701/55 is a safety programmable logic controller (PLC) designed for emergency shutdown of critical rotating machinery like turbines, generators, and pumps. It continuously monitors machine health for signs of trouble such as vibration, looseness, and bearing wear. Upon detecting an anomaly exceeding the preset limits, the 3701/55 initiates a safe shutdown to prevent catastrophic equipment failure and protect personnel.

- Integrated overspeed detection for emergency shutdown in case the machine exceeds safe operating speeds
