When you’re assembling electronics, building RC models, mounting PCBs, or fabricating small metal components, undersized or low-grade fasteners can strip, corrode, or fail at the worst moment. These G304 stainless steel Phillips pan washer head machine screws are engineered for the maker, engineer, and hobbyist who needs a dependable small-diameter fastener that holds up over time — without rust, without play, and without compromise.
Each screw is machined from Grade 304 stainless steel and features a pan washer head (integrated flange beneath the head) with a Phillips (cross) drive. Available in three metric diameters — M2, M2.5, and M3 — with shank lengths ranging from 3mm (1/8”) to 20mm (25/32”), including 4mm (5/32”), 5mm (3/16”), 6mm (15/64”), 7mm (9/32”), 8mm (5/16”), 9mm (11/32”), 10mm (3/8”), 12mm (15/32”), and 16mm (5/8”). Note: lengths listed exclude the head. Choose from pack sizes of 10, 30, 50, 100, 200, or 300 pieces.
These stainless machine screws are a go-to choice for electronics enclosure assembly and PCB mounting where small-diameter metric fasteners are required; for RC car, drone, and robotics builds where lightweight corrosion-resistant screws reduce maintenance; and for general fabrication, appliance repair, and DIY projects where a reusable, rust-proof fastener is needed in tight spaces.

A reliable rule of thumb is to select a length where at least two-thirds of the screw engages the base material. For example, if your top panel is 4mm thick, a 10mm (3/8”) shank screw generally provides solid holding power. Keep in mind that the lengths listed for these screws exclude the head — add approximately 1–2mm for the head height to calculate total installed depth. When in doubt, size up rather than down.
Grade 304 stainless steel is generally well-suited for light-to-medium duty fastening in electronics enclosures, appliances, furniture, RC models, and general fabrication. It offers good tensile strength for small-diameter fasteners. For high-load structural connections or environments with heavy chloride exposure (such as marine or coastal settings), a higher grade such as 316 stainless steel is typically recommended.
Yes — Grade 304 stainless steel is corrosion-resistant and performs well in most indoor and light outdoor environments, including humid, wet, and mildly corrosive conditions. It is not recommended for prolonged direct exposure to saltwater or coastal air, where 316 stainless steel is generally the more durable choice for long-term outdoor use.
These are standard ISO metric machine screws. M2, M2.5, and M3 refer to the nominal thread diameter in millimeters. They are compatible with any standard metric M2, M2.5, or M3 nut, threaded insert, or tapped hole manufactured to the ISO 68-1 thread profile. They are not compatible with UNC/UNF (imperial) threads.
A standard pan head has a slightly rounded top and a flat bearing surface that contacts the workpiece. A pan washer head (also called a flanged pan head) adds an integrated flange — a wider, flat ring beneath the head — that distributes clamping load over a larger surface area. This reduces the risk of the head pulling through softer materials like plastic, thin sheet metal, or PCB laminates, making it a better choice for delicate assemblies.
Each listing is available in six pack sizes: 10, 30, 50, 100, 200, or 300 pieces. For a single repair or prototype build, the 10- or 30-piece pack is typically sufficient. For electronics assembly, robotics projects, or workshop stock, the 100- to 300-piece packs offer better value per screw. Select your preferred quantity from the Your Pack Quantity option above.
These screws use a standard Phillips (cross) drive. For M2 and M2.5 screws, a PH0 or PH1 bit is typically the correct fit. For M3 screws, a PH1 or PH2 bit is generally appropriate. Always match the bit size carefully — using an oversized bit on small-diameter screws is a common cause of cam-out and head damage.
