The Weight Bar is a simple, effective ballast solution for 20–25 HP John Deere garden tractors, designed to improve traction, stability, and loader performance. Measuring 18″ × 3″ × 12″, it securely holds six 42 lb John Deere suitcase weights (purchased separately) for a total installed ballast weight of 262 lbs.

Installation is quick and hassle‑free — the bar bolts directly to your tractor’s frame using existing bolts, with no drilling required. Proper rear ballast is essential when operating a front‑end loader, helping to prevent front‑heavy handling, improve steering control, and reduce the risk of tipping.

Whether you’re moving soil, gravel, mulch, or snow, the Weight Bar ensures your tractor stays balanced and ready to deliver its full lifting power.
