Their remarkable weight and compact size are primarily due to the use of Gore-Tex Paclite. Paclite not only feels soft to the touch and comfortable against your skin but also doesn't stick when you get wet. It's a 2.5-layer construction that not only provides excellent breathability but also the proven durability of Gore-Tex, even in torrential downpours.

For added protection on the harshest days, the pants feature 3-layer 75D Gore-Tex reinforcements in high-wear areas like the seat, knees, and kick strips. Their design incorporates a gusseted crotch for unrestricted movement and an integrated elasticised waistband with a low-profile drawcord that won't dig in when wearing a harness or hipbelt. Convenience is key with 2-way 3/4 length zips on the outside of each leg, allowing you to easily slip them on and off, even when they're damp and muddy or if you're wearing chunky B-rated boots. Additional adjustability comes in the form of Velcro cuffs to protect against water and snow ingress.
