Duke Jordan stands in a snowy landscape. This is the best piano trio work of Duke Jordan's lifetime, and his neat, fresh, and casually poetic playing can be heard throughout. Opening with his signature tune, "Dangerous Liaisons Blues," the trio plays a variety of original compositions, including a romantic standard number, the elegant waltz "Glad I Met Pat," the slow "If I Did, Wood You," and the chic swing number at the end, the title tune. The title tune is the last chic swing number on the album, and the entire album is a must-listen. The trio session took place at the end of the year in Copenhagen in the winter of 1974.
