Description:

Rail cargo supports the backbone of Japan's logistics. The second volume of this series, which features footage of freight trains traveling from Hokkaido to Kyushu, will focus on the Tokyo metropolitan area, with the next volume, Volume 3, to be released in the near future. The Tohoku Main Line carries goods from Hokkaido to Tokyo via the Seikan Tunnel. The Joetsu Line, which connects the Sea of Japan side to the Tokyo metropolitan area via the Shimizu Tunnel, and the Shinetsu and Takasaki Lines, which connect at Takasaki. The Joban Line, which includes the Chichibu Railway, the eastern Yokozuna of private railway freight, and Sumidagawa Station, a freight terminal in northern Tokyo. The Sobu Main Line and its branch line, the Shin-Kinmono Line. The Kashima Waterfront Railway, the artery of Ibaraki Prefecture's most prominent industrial area. And the Musashino Line, which connects to the next issue and the western part of the Tokyo metropolitan area. The film focuses on freight trains in the eastern part of the Tokyo metropolitan area, and follows the locomotives such as EH500, EH200, EF65, EF66, and EF210 that lead these trains.
