Furtwängler & VPO, Bruckner in Stuttgart: "Romantic" 2-track, 38 cm, open reel tape reissue■From the producer The first two live recordings of Bruckner's Symphony No. 4 "Romantic" by Furtwängler and the Vienna Philharmonic are known, one in Stuttgart (October 22, 1951) and the other in Munich (October 29, 1951). The first one was released to the public on the 29th, but the later one, released on the 22nd, is said to have clearer sound quality, and if one has to choose between the two, the 22nd is said to be the better one. This time, it was reissued from a 2-track, 38cm, open-reel tape, and was brought back to life with the best possible freshness.
