Our Vietnam War Type I infantry helmet features a genuine U.S. surplus steel helmet and liner. Each setup includes a 3-point neckband and headband for a complete, ready-to-use configuration. The steel helmet is paired with a NOS (new old stock) original chinstrap, a reproduction camouflage cover, and an elastic band.

This is a well-crafted piece that strikes a balance between authenticity and quality — ideal for collectors, reenactors, and history enthusiasts. The helmet looks just as sharp in person as it does in the photos, with every detail carefully represented.

Can I choose a manufacturer?
Unfortunately, no. It’s not about being selective or difficult — it’s simply impossible to maintain an adequate stock of every helmet and liner manufacturer.

Are all your helmets and liners from the Vietnam War era?
Absolutely. All of our steel helmets are original U.S. G.I. manufacture from the 1960s–1970s, and the liners are from the same era.

What is the condition of your helmet and liner stock?
We take great pride in selecting only the best candidates for restoration. Minor defects such as small dents, stress cracks, hairline rim cracks, chips, or tiny punctures may exist, but anything too far gone to be properly repaired is promptly rejected.
