The Peperu model is Viper's steering paddle. The blade is carbon fiber, and the shaft can be ordered with either a bamboo shaft or a carbon fiber shaft. Both types of shaft are light and strong, but the carbon fiber shaft will make the paddle slightly lighter, and the bamboo shaft will make it slightly more resistant to high forces.

This paddle was created by working with Rete Ebb, the steers for EDT Va'a, who is the 4x Super Aito champion and regarded by many as the world's best steers.

Note: all designs can come in either carbon or bamboo shaft.
