What a stunner! Made by Larry Aldrich this is an exceptional 1950s cocktail dress in a lovely bright pink and gold fabric. The fabric is very unusual and the print very pretty - it has an almost Asian feel to it and has delicate pops of clue running through it! The skirt is lovely and full and the top is darling. I love the simple cut and the attached ribbon detailing around the waist. It closes with a series of buttons down the front and these are all hidden under the front panel of fabric It is utterly gorgeous! In person you get an extra bit of richness tot he texture and feel of the fabric with more of a shimmering gold effect to it - if you love the pictures you will love it more in person!
