This dress is pure 90s perfection— I love the minimalist silhouette juxtaposed by the pretty watercolor floral. It's not your basic slipdress: the bias-cut fabric combined with the princess seams create a fit that clings to the body in the right places and flatters a variety of figures. The chiffon fabric has a light sheerness to it, but it's possible to wear without a slip underneath if paired with nude/neutral undergarments. With black or something contrasting underneath (as seen here) it will be a bit sheer in certain lights.
