Radium Fluid Lock PCV Catch Can Kit — Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X

An oil catch can is essential on a performance vehicle to protect the engine from elevated levels of crankcase blow-by accumulated during aggressive driving. Excess oil-saturated air circulating back into the intake stream degrades performance and promotes sludge buildup. Radium Engineering catch cans feature large 10AN ORB ports, a 4AN ORB drain port, 2-step oil separation baffling, and an O-ring sealed dipstick.

The 20-0105-FL PCV Catch Can Kit is compatible with all Evo X models. It installs immediately behind the RH headlight and plumbs inline with the PCV hose. When the PCV valve is open, crankcase vapour, unspent fuel, and oil sludge would normally be drawn into the intake manifold — the catch can acts as an inline filter, trapping and holding contaminants before they reach the intake. Because Radium catch cans are pressure-sealed, they are fully compatible with boosted applications and will withstand any boost level — no check valve required.

This is a closed-loop system that does not vent to atmosphere (VTA) — making it emissions compliant and track legal. Clean filtered air is routed back through the engine to promote negative crankcase pressure for optimal performance and to prevent oil vapours entering the cabin.

Important: Some European Evo X models have headlamp washer reservoirs which may create an interference with the PCV catch can mounting location.
