The fitted waistband comes to a small pint at the center front, and is fastened with metal zipper at its center back. Below, the skirt is quite full, with many tiny gathers, all around, and 2 side seam pockets, hooray! The waistband only is lined with self-fabric (black rayon taffeta), and the quilted hem is backed with mesh-like interfacing (see photo). This darling 1950s circle skirt is shown here with a crinoline underneath, which is not included. It is in near excellent condition, with a few small pulls in the mesh interfacing on the underside of the hem--not seen when worn.
