The Dennison Manufacturing Company (1844-1990) which produced this "Handy Box No. 64," c. 1920s-30s I believe, was a Framingham, Massachusetts based paper products manufacturer and international leader in the stationery market. And if this was no 64 in a series of boxed kits, seems to me one would have everything one could every possibly need to complete every task imaginable and keep themselves busy for the rest of their lives if they had the whole series!  I'm a sucker for good packaging and boxes inside of boxes--looking at this fills me with a sense of serenity at its organization, and also with the want to write letters, create albums, and box up gifts. Seems most of the original contents are present: postal labels (including poison, fragile, special delivery, do not bend, etc), photo corners and wafers, pins and needles, paper fasteners and hole reinforcements and mending tape, and colorful labels and tags of various other sorts. Many of them housed in little boxes that look like books, enhancing the sense of the box as a library of solutions.  I just could not resist, and these seem pretty scarce to find. 

7 7/8 x 6 1/4 x 2 3/4 and in very good condition. Some wear to the exterior of the box, with a scotch tape mend to one corner. Contents clean and bright and little if at all touched. I tested a couple of labels to make sure their gumminess has endured, and indeed, they stick and stay well attached to whatever one might adhere them too.
