He became Christian and secretly practiced His Faith. Florian remained Silent, The Roman Emperor was under Diocletian and all Christians which confessed their Faith were persecuted. But in spite of this, when Florian heard about that forty Christians awaiting execution, he decided to reveal His Faith. For this reason, he was captured, killed and thrown into the River. The Statue depicts S.Florian as a young man in armor, with a lance, a bucket of water and a building. It is said that S.Florian saved an entire city flames just using a bucket of water.
