Not every transfer needs a full-body patient lift. The CostCare L440C Electric Stand Assist Patient Lift is made for users who can take part in the movement by placing their feet on the foot stand and holding the patient handles during a seated transfer.
The powered boom helps raise the user from a seated position, while the adjustable knee pad, anti-slip foot stand, and patient handles help keep the transfer setup more controlled. This makes the L440C a practical electric sit-to-stand lift for repeated moves between a bed, wheelchair, chair, or commode.
The L440C is a patient transfer lift, not a transport chair. It is designed for moving a user between resting surfaces, not across a room.
