The Italian cycling title Alvento takes a people-centric approach to the sport by celebrating those who have ‘chosen bikes as a means of expressing themselves.’ As for the name? It’s Italian for ‘in the wind’.

Previously published exclusively in Italian, the magazine is now available in English, but its coverage remains firmly Italian, profiling cyclists, covering races, sharing two-wheeled journeys from around the world and translating features from the original Italian edition. 

In this issue: Alvento follows the five-stage Volta ao Algarve through scenic hill climbs and past the destination’s iconic colourful houses; meets cycling team ‘ROCKETS’, who started as a YouTube channel and are now set to compete in the upcoming Giro d’Italia; and takes you through the nine legendary climbs of the Stelvio Epic Rides Challenge.
