Crampon locks let you have the best of both worlds. Dynamic when you want the ski crampon to be able to rotate up for efficiency and locked for a static mode to get maximum grip. Can be changed on the fly  without getting out of bindings by just reaching down to engage and disengage. These should only be used with B & D crampons as most other crampons have a taper on the back that can damage the lock.

• Warning: B & D Ski crampon locks are only approved for use on our [B & D] crampons. They should not be used with the official Dynafit brand ski crampons or most any other. Their crampons have a taper on the back of the crampon which may cause our locks to fail.
