Standard patient lifts may not provide enough rated capacity for heavier users. The CostCare L400XC Bariatric Electric Patient Lift is built for care teams that need a powered bariatric patient lift with a 600 lb weight capacity and a stronger transfer setup than the standard electric model.
The electric hand pendant raises and lowers the boom, while the adjustable low base helps position the lift around beds, wheelchairs, chairs, and commodes. With a 22.3" to 70.5" sling hook range and 4.5" base clearance, the L400XC is designed for daily transfer work where capacity, reach, and furniture access all matter.
This bariatric patient transfer lift is made for moving a resident between resting surfaces. It is not a wheelchair, transport chair, or device for carrying someone across a room.
