The 90th Replacement Battalion stood at the gateway of the Vietnam War — the first stop for thousands of U.S. Army soldiers arriving at Long Binh Post. As the primary in-processing hub of the late 1960s and early 1970s, it was where orders were cut, assignments were made, and the war became real.
