This is the cotton line's oval format — a meaningful design difference from rectangular siblings. Oval rugs center their composition under round tables (the medallion lives directly beneath the table center), soften room geometry in rectangular spaces, and create visual focal points in foyers, breakfast nooks, and round-bay window settings where a rectangular rug would fight the architecture. The pastel accents (soft pink, sage, dusty blue) layer color into the medallion without dominating the gray ground.

Underfoot first

The 2M-points construction sits lighter underfoot than the 3M premium tier — thinner profile, more pliable hand, the same brushed-cotton softness. The pastel accents read jewel-like against the gray ground; the raised pattern lifts the medallion's center detail in tactile relief. Under daylight the pastels register clearly; under warm-incandescent they soften into the gray-and-cream tonal register.

Built for round-table dining rooms, round-bay window sitting nooks, foyers, breakfast areas, and primary bedrooms with curved-foot or round-base furniture. Works on pale white-oak, mid-walnut, ash, and limestone tile. Upholstery: dusty-rose velvet (echoes the pastel pink), sage-green linen (echoes the pastel sage), cream bouclé for tonal calm. Aged brass lighting; polished nickel for a more contemporary read.

Not machine-washable. Vacuum weekly without beater bar; the gray ground hides pet hair and minor wear well, but the pastel accents may show coffee or red-wine staining — blot promptly with cool water. Professional clean every 18 months.

Family / lifestyle

The oval format is genuinely practical: under a round table it eliminates the dead-corner problem a rectangular rug creates, and in irregular-shape rooms (round-bay windows, alcove sitting areas) it conforms to the architecture rather than fighting it. Gray ground absorbs pet hair and daily traffic; the pastel accents bring soft color without overcommitting to a single palette. Cotton's hand is softer than wool underfoot.
