We humbly present Status IPA, the Triple dry hopped IPA version of Status Quo.

Ok, it might not be the most original celebration but it’s a Mountain Culture style celebration.

Discussions on what beer we’d brew to celebrate started on the afternoon of the Countdown soon after the confetti cannons fired. The first suggestion was ‘Status Trio’ a 15.6% version of beloved hazy pale ale and it certainly won the popular vote at the time! Luckily, the voice of reason that is our brewers and accounts team was able to be heard. Their lectures touched on why our house yeast wouldn’t be able to hit 15.6% and how the excise alone would bankrupt us so we decided to brew a triple dry hopped IPA version of Status.
