Made in Japan and created for Pentel France, the Tradio Classic Fountain Pen is a rare pen from one of the world's leading manufacturers.

The Tradio body shape has been retained for this special edition, but everything else has been overhauled: the exterior, which has been covered in red leatherette; the nib, which has been replaced with durable, smooth steel; and the ink system, which is compatible with International Standard cartridges and converters for the first time.

In our tests, the Tradio Classic proved an excellent writer, with a round, medium nib that moves easily across paper. It feels substantial and comfortable in the hand; the leatherette makes it especially pleasant to handle this pen.
