More translations use the term Carpenter to describe Jesus' and Joseph's trade. The tradition often portrays Joseph and Jesus as Carpenters, working together, sharing the same tools. As a good Jewish, Joseph taught His Craft to his Son. In the Gospel, Matthew describes Jesus as Téktón's Son.
