One Hundred Flowers circular hand-tufted rug takes inspiration from Wendy’s original hand-knotted rug design, One Hundred Birds One Hundred Flowers, which was inspired by an exquisite pair of Japanese scrolls depicting many birds and animals living together in harmony. With an incredibly uplifting message, it is a rug full of colour, hope, and vitality, with a design that translates beautifully to a circular shape.
The focus here is on the flowers, which bloom around the outside edge, forming a glorious, colourful border. There are still a few exotic birds to be seen, darting in and out around the foliage, creating an extra layer of interest, but the blooms catch the eye first to create a stunning circular focal point.
Round rugs are a wonderful way to soften hard edges, highlight curved or circular features in a room, create zoned areas, make a space feel bigger and add a joyful extra dimension to décor.
Full of joy, hope and life, our circular rug embodies the feeling of standing in the middle of a peaceful garden, surrounded by uplifting, colourful flora, and foliage, that soothes and inspires in equal measure.

In 2004 freelance fashion designer Wendy Morrison accepted a commission to design a rug collection. It was a turning point; the perfect match for her love of colour and pattern, combined with storytelling. It was the start of a design journey that comes from the heart, that puts passion and craftsmanship at the centre of every project, and strives to connect people, places, art, ideas and nature.
Authentic rug-making demands incredible skill, craftsmanship and attention to detail. Wendy Morrison want to protect those skills, to support the artisans who tuft and weave, and bring our designs to life, to explain the history and storytelling behind rug design, and to celebrate and help maintain this centuries-old art.
Since 2012, Wendy Morrison have worked with the same Indian manufacturer and artisans who share their desire to create rugs of outstanding quality. Wendy Morrison take responsibility for ethical trading seriously and are a proud partner of GoodWeave, a not-for-profit organisation that ensures fair working conditions.
