It prevents the tint from getting marks and scratches so that it reaches you in impeccable condition. Underneath is a heat-activated self-healing top coat. Minor scratchers on the surface of the tint simply vanish with the application of heat. It is like magic. Then we have the face film with a layer of strong adhesive. This is covered with a PET release liner that helps maintain its tack for a long time.

This headlight tint film is applied using the wet method. The process is simple. Clean your headlight thoroughly, then generously spray it with slip solution. Apply the tint and use a squeegee to remove air bubbles and excess liquid from underneath. Once the film is set, apply heat and you're done. It can endure high temperatures from the light without getting damaged. It does not warp or peel off.
