Tasting Notes
Nose : Lemon cheesecake, maple syrup, and a whiff of floral barley.
Palate : Salted caramel, more citrus brightness, and warm oaky spices.
Finish : Apple pie with brown sugar and nutmeg.
About South Star Spirits
South Star Spirits is a whisky bottling brand launched by North Star Spirits in early 2022 to promote the upcoming Dal Riata Distillery in Campbeltown. The brand's first releases were a trio of mystery single malts from Speyside, Islay, and the Highlands, with each bottling containing a vatting of 10 hogsheads and bottled at 48% ABV. The new Dál Riata distillery is planned to use locally grown barley and will be located in Campbeltown.
