Description:
Original Australian Army-issue canvas shovel cover, designed to hold the standard folding entrenching tool. Constructed from tough olive drab canvas, these covers were widely used throughout the late 1970s and 1980s. Each features a press-stud closure, reinforced edging, and drainage eyelets at the base.
The rear of the cover includes two metal ALICE clips and an additional loop, allowing easy attachment to standard military webbing, belts, or packs. Genuine surplus, these covers show varying degrees of service and storage wear, making each one unique.
