Southern Cross Pottery Fluoride Plus Filter (new packaging) is manufactured in England and is an all in one filter that removes virtually all impurities including chlorine and fluoride and lasts 2000L or 6-12 months. The Fluoride Plus™ filter elements utilise a class leading silver impregnated ceramic micro porous outer shell combined with state of the art  granular core technology which removes fluoride plus virtually all other contaminants. The Fluoride Plus Filter is made from the highest quality NSF component certified (ANSI 61) coconut shell based activated carbon and other proprietary adsorbent materials. The ceramic shell and the granular carbon combines mechanical filtration and physical absorption processes to reduce a wide variety of drinking water contaminants of both aesthetic and health concerns. The pore structure of the ceramic enables sufficient contact time for the filter to be ideally suited to improving taste and odour as well as reducing chlorine, chloramine, volatile organic compounds, MTBE, lead, mercury, asbestos, arsenic and fluoride. The cleanable ceramic shell is designed to remove suspended solids, pathogenic bacteria and cysts. The Fluoride Plus filter has been tested in accordance with NSF protocols for cyst, turbidity, particulates, lead, chloramines and chlorine reduction.
