Class Date: Wednesday, July 8 - 6pm-8:30pm

Rest easy tonight on these lovely handmade pillowcases!  Plus, learn the simple yet clever “burrito” method to make high quality pillowcases with expertly finished French seams. You’ll just need three coordinating prints and some thread and you’re on your way to a fresh set of pillowcases!

This class is suitable for beginner sewists who have taken our Sewing 101 class or have equivalent basic sewing machine experience. Students must be able to confidently thread and operate a sewing machine independently.

Required Materials: (per pillowcase - double requirements if making two)

• (1) Pattern: Sleep Tight Pillowcase by Studio M Squared
• (1) Project Kit: Sleep Tight Pillowcase

Alternatively, if you do not wish to purchase a Project Kit, you will need:

• (1) Pattern: Sleep Tight Pillowcase by Studio M Squared
• main fabric: 7/8 yd of quilting cotton if non-directional, 1-1/8 yd of quilting cotton if directional
• accent fabric (thin strip): 1/8 yd of quilting cotton
• cuff fabric: 1/3 yd of quilting cotton
• (1) spool of coordinating thread

Required Tools:

• fabric scissors or rotary cutter + acrylic ruler
