The Albrighton Rambler English Rambling Rose from David Austin Roses is intricate and beautiful. A repeat-flowering variety it has, unusually for a rambler, fully double flowers that are small and cup-shaped. They are blush pink, fading to blush white and are held in large, gracefully hanging sprays. The petals of each bloom are beautifully arranged around a little button eye; the overall appearance being one of exceptional prettiness and charm.
The rose is named to commend the 'Striders, Steppers and Strollers' who walk in the lanes and fields around the village of Albrighton, where the David Austin Nursery is located.
Introduced in 2013, this rose is suitable for all soil types and thrives in partial or full sunlight. It is ideal for brightening up walls or fences, and does well threaded through standard/large arches or obelisks.
After approximately three years of annual pruning, the Albrighton Rambler will be about 3.75m tall, with a delicious light musk scent and small, pretty blooms. As a repeat flowerer, this bush will give you fragrant flushes of flowers from late spring to early winter.
