Applications and functionalities

This cable set is specifically developed for advanced key programming for Toyota, Lexus, and Scion and offers the following functionalities:

• All Keys Lost (AKL) programming: Enables learning a new mechanical 8A key when all original keys are lost by forcing communication with the ECU via external wiring.
• Immobilizer bypass (In-vehicle): Retrieves the necessary security data from the vehicle without physically removing the anti-theft module (IMMO box) from the dashboard or behind the heater motor.
• Direct data extraction: Uses specific pins on the ignition lock (IGN) and fuse box (B+) to simulate the required voltage and data lines needed for key programming.

Special features and capabilities

The cable set facilitates hardware connections necessary for complex programming procedures:

• Integration with APB112 Smart Key Emulator: Provides the communication line through which the Autel tablet can read vehicle data to then create a temporary, emulated chip on the APB112 for ignition.
• Hardware interface via G-Box2: Connects directly to the Autel G-Box2 via the DB15 connector for fast and stable data transfer during the calculation of passwords for the anti-theft system.
