Omni’s 3350-05 High Accuracy Single "Thermoplastic" Road Monitoring Prism features a housing that is manufactured from a special nylon thermoplastic blend which offers superior strength and longevity, that provides substantial cost savings. It contains a 12.7 mm high accuracy optical coated prism. It is extremely durable and designed to withstand highway traffic when adhered to roadway using any approved AASHTO rated adhesive.

The prism located inside the housing is angled at 10° with line-of-sight the AMTS. The road prism can accommodate misalignments within ± 10°. For example, the 20° road prism is usable with angles between 10° to 30°.

The Omni 10° road prisms are used with AMTS which are secured on tripods. 20° prisms are used with AMTS mounted on buildings 3 to 7 stories high, and 40° prisms are used with AMTS mounted on buildings 8+ stories high.

Applications:
Road prisms are recommended with automated total station (AMTS) to monitor settlement and deformation of roads, buildings, pavement, and other surfaces.
