Madam Reverie

Madam Reverie was made using a version of our baby bear design, yet has not turned out very baby-like at all! Instead, she reminds me of a bossy little madam, ready to tell everyone what to do and how to do it! 

She has been made from a mix of straight pile mohair in teddy-gold and ivory-white. The white mohair is slightly longer, and gives her a scruffy, ruffled effect around the cuff of her neck, her ears, belly and cheeks. She looks out through a pair of our hand-painted glass eyes in a sparkling dark brown, with hand-sculpted eyelids and dramatically over-the-top eyelashes!

She features a long muzzle and a hand embroidered black Perle cotton nose. She is fully 5-way jointed and stuffed with polyfill and steel shot. We've hand-pulled her hands and feet and shaded them with inktense dye. She never leaves the house without her feather fascinator, and her jewelled headpiece. In fact, she loves jewels so much that she has even adorned her little companion (a super cute handmade, string jointed faux fur panda) with a matching headpiece. She wears a cute handmade cotton dress (fully removable), and is a one of a kind artist bear.
