This is a lovely short choker strand of vintage art deco style Japanese saltwater akoya cultured pearls. 

The pearls measure 6.50-7.00mm and round. Good quality. They have great luster with rosy pink overtones. Light amount of natural blemishes. They are a white/cream color.

Clasp is in solid solid sterling and features a milgrain edge. It is stamped "SILVER" which is an older mark for sterling. Total length is 14 inches, it is a mid-neck choker or for a very petite person. From Japan 1930's-1960's.

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned and restrung. Few scratches on the clasp.
