Lovely vintage evening suit from Valentino Night is a rare and elegant fine. It features a long matelasse jacket paired with a flared silk chiffon skirt. The jacket has a mandarin collar, lightly padded shoulders, silk charmeuse cuffed sleeves and cord covered buttons. The fabric is a wool and cotton blend (79/21) matelasse or jacquard, and it is lined in the same luscious silk charmeuse that you see on the cuffs. The flared skirt comprises two layers of red silk crepe with a side zipper and side slit that will show a hint of leg as you walk or sit. Based on all of the labels that are present, are dating this suit to the latter half of the 1980s. Labeled size 10. This is a vintage size, so it might vary from a modern size 10. The suit seems to run true to modern sizing, but please refer to the measurements for additional guidance regarding size.
