Fabric Suggestions: The Mizzle dress is designed for a clever mix of fabrics: a stretch knit for the top and a woven fabric for the skirt. Though if you prefer, the skirt can also be made in a stretch fabric.

The bodice must be made with a knit fabric that has at least 30% stretch - cotton jerseys work beautifully here, especially those with a 95% cotton / 5% Spandex or Lycra blend. French terry (loop-back jersey) or a light to medium-weight sweatshirt fabric is also ideal, as it pairs nicely with the woven skirt.

For the neckband, we recommend a rib knit for added stretch and comfort, though you can use your main bodice fabric if you prefer.

For the skirt, opt for a woven fabric like cotton lawn, poplin, or quilting cotton. Other good choices include chambray, linen, or a soft viscose for more drape.
