This is the basic work surface. No built-in storage — you're adding your own tool cabinet or wall pegboard next to it, which actually gives you way more flexibility for your setup.

What kind of fastening or mounting does the base use?

The frame is bolted together at assembly. If you're bolting it to your concrete floor, use concrete anchors rated for your floor type — check your local shop conditions first before committing to permanent mounting.

Can I use this outside or in a wet shop?

Steel frame will rust if exposed to moisture and weather. Keep it inside or under cover, and wipe it down if water gets on it. If you're in a humid environment, protective coating or regular maintenance keeps it working longer.
