Meet Carnation, she is a super sweet late 1970s cotton blend romantic prairie beauty. Carnation has the sweetest ditsy floral print on a white base and gorgeous turquoise ribbon details. She has a square neckline with elasticated shoulders, 3/4 length puff sleeves and a full skirt with flounce detail. This beauty is a sweet and romantic spring dream, and would look gorgeous styled up or down.

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ BEFORE BUYING - Sadly the flowers attached to this dress at the ribbons on her shoulders disintegrated while washing, she still looks gorgeous with her bows, but this was clearly unavoidable and inevitable that it would happen at some point. Please see last photos to see what she looks like now without these flowers. She is still a beautiful dress and it would have been a real shame to have removed her from sale for this reason.

The Carnation has been freshly laundered and is ready to wear. She can safely be washed at home on a cool setting. She is in good vintage condition, she has a few minor signs of wear.

This beauty has minimal signs of vintage wear, but please bear in mind that our pieces are true vintage, they’ve been danced in and they have been lived in, so all of our garments will carry your usual signs of vintage wear. Anything that we think is outside of what would class as usual vintage wear, we will state.
