In the mid-1970s, the jazz fusion movement took off in the American jazz scene. In 1974, Brand X was formed by three session musicians, and was introduced by Phil Collins, who joined the band as a drummer, to Charisma Records. In 1976, Brand X made its debut with an album titled "Unorthodox Behaviour". The band's technical and high-tension performance was comparable to that of American jazz fusion, and the band was highly acclaimed. This live album was produced using the sound recordings from the broadcast.This album contains songs from the debut album, songs not included on the album, and new songs from the forthcoming album.
