Description:
New Corelli recording by Enrico Gatti! The world premiere recording of the fantastic "Sonata di Assisi"! Enrico Gatti, the god of baroque violin, is an Italian treasure who continues to walk the royal road of ancient music. Gatti, who has created many masterpieces and masterpieces of Corelli, has now revived Corelli's fantastic work "Sonata di Assisi," which has been in sleep for 340 years. The "Sonatas of Assisi," written by the young Corelli in Bologna at the age of 16-17, is a collection of 12 violin sonatas for which manuscript scores were discovered in the Church of St. Francis of Assisi in 1963. After many years of research, analysis, and revision of the manuscript score, Gatti finally made the "Sonatas of Assisi" available for performance. The world premiere and recording of the "Sonata di Assisi" was realized in 2013, the 300th anniversary of the composer's death, and it is an excellent "dance-like" work that combines the style of the Bolognese School and the talent of the young Corelli. It would not be an exaggeration to say that it is a discovery of the century that fills a void in music history.
