I found this one in Pennsylvania, and just thought it was, well, funny! And sweet, too, crafted of cigar box wood long ago, clearly to very deliberately to have that "FUNNY!" on the underside of the lid. On the exterior of the lid appears "Our Pug", indicating I believe that the wood was salvaged from a Pug brand cigar box, but the "Pug" seems to have be intentionally blacked out, leaving the text to add up to "Our... Funny" and so making me think perhaps this box was used to contain, or deliver, an inside joke! (Or perhaps it once contained a pile of snapshots of a pug named Funny!) Who knows? Whatever the case, a good one now in which to stash some favorite funny things.

4 11/16" x 3" x 1 1/4" and in good condition, solidly constructed, hinges well attached, great patina.
