‘Archive and analytics of personal wardrobes’
Founded by former Nike footwear designer Colin Behr, Wardrobe Theory Project is dedicated to sustainability in fashion, with each issue envisioned as a ‘processbook for one wardrobe.’ Inspired by the design of Japanese streetwear magazines, WTP is pleasingly organised into two sections divided by paper stock: a matt ‘Features’ segment is followed by a glossy ‘Wardrobe’ inventory.
This sophomore issue of Wardrobe Theory Project taps into a tender take on style—one that highlights how clothes can leverage connection—and places value on the origin stories and forgotten intimacies of the pieces we reach for every day. This notion of connection is examined through an essay on ‘The Feeling of Symbiosis’, an ode to cobbling, and a guide to adding extra mileage to suede footwear. The ‘Wardrobe’ of this issue categorises the most loved garments of Bryce Wong, touted by Behr as ‘the most creative person most creative people have ever met.’
